Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Hiring Type: Contract
Job Purpose:
- The primary purpose of the local Infra Project Manager is to have fully experienced professional personnel to drive/manage Japan IT infrastructure projects with strong communication skill and broader knowledge/experience of IT infrastructure.
- Follow our clients Project Management Framework(PMBOK base), create “Project Charter”, “Project Management Plan” and “Business Case” for the business approval. Then execute and lead the project with appropriate risk/stakeholder management,
- Work with local IT teams(Infra production/Application support/Business Partner/PMO), global IT teams and business stakeholders for the project management and concerned documentations
- Prepare Project Charter/Project Management Plan/Business Case, then get reviewed/approved with stakeholders
- Execute a project providing regular status report, risk assessment and regular meetings with project members or steering committee members.
- Manage Project Cost, Schedule(milestone, critical path) as agreed
- Complete/close a project with smooth service transition into production
- Project documentations
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Initiate project with documentations(Charter, Business Case) for the approval, then kick off the project for the execution
- Create WBS, then manage milestones and all the tasks to drive a project
- Communicate with all project team members, stakeholders or external partners for visible project reporting or risk management
- Responsible for several project reports or documentation with our clients project management tool or other project templates

Professional & Leadership Experience: (Previous experience in terms of time and complexity)
- Broder IT infrastructure (Network, Data center, Server platform, Storage, Windows PC, Cloud, etc.) technical skill or experience
- Sufficient experience of Project Management in IT Infrastructure area
- Very good work experience of stakeholder management
Education & Training:
- University degree preferably in a technical subject or any comparable education
- Project/Program Management experience
- PMP certification
- Project Manager certificate (Japan specific)
- ITIL certificate (nice to have)
