Service Delivery Division is the backbone of the company, and includes creation, setting up, and maintaining the company IT infrastructure.
As part of the company’s Vision 2020 activities, the Infrastructure Area is running an Infrastructure Migration Program targeting to complete by 2020.
As such, the entire company infrastructure will be re-designed and transitioned as per the progress of the Program.
【Position Summary】
The Server Engineer will be responsible for the Windows/Linux infrastructure implementation and maintenance in on-Prem and Private Cloud Environment.
The day-to-day server operation is one of the main tasks in this position.
Infrastructure should follow the latest security standards, and therefore, this role is required to deploy vulnerabilities and install and fix System/Tools Package to enable audit to set them as closed.
Communication skills, reporting, and escalation of issues are essential as the person will be a team player sharing knowledge, concepts, and assigned tasks where needed.
Candidates must be hands-on, pragmatic, down-to-the-earth, with a can-do mentality, and a team player.
【Key Accountabilities】
-Day-to-day operations to manage/maintain Windows (mainly) and Linux OS Platforms.
-Provide incident support at tier 2 level, where users are critical internal customers.
-Provide support to infrastructure projects with Implementation of new server OS/application upgrades and migration.
-Fix security vulnerabilities/audit findings.
【Skills and Knowledge】
Essential:
-At least 5+ years working as a server engineer at a large corporation.
–MCSA level of knowledge and experience on Windows Server (2008/above versions).
–VMWare infrastructure operations and build
–MS Office 365 (Email/Intune/Skype for Business) operations and troubleshooting.
-Experience of Microsoft System Center products (SCCM/SCOM/WSUS) operation.
-Experience of SharePoint (online) maintenance and support.
-Backup systems – conceptual knowledge (NetBackup/Avamar).
-Bilingual Language Skills (Business Japanese and English at an intermediate level).
Preferred:
-Experience of multi-domain and trusted Active Directory forest in Global Organization.
-Scripting / programming skill.
